Periodically we receive request about the purchase of our domain names. About the OurShop.com™ Project
The OurShop.com™ project was created in 1997 as a public informational resource to aid existing and prospective e-commerce merchants in making internet service decisions.
To maintain our independence we do not sell advertising space. We do, however, include relevant Adsmart advertising. Google and CJ.com Ads should not be considered Ourshop.com™ recommendations (see next paragraph).
Our service recommendations are made from personal experience and public feedback. Since the OurShop.com site is geared toward providing independent e-commerce information and helping to simplify the process of starting e-commerce related sites we select quality service providers and keep our recomendation lists short. We encourage people looking for e-commerce services to research providers and we attempt to provide guidelines to make the process easier.
Though our contributors are primarily experienced in Unix related machines and Apache based web servers, most articles are written to apply to any shared server environment. The articles are intended for people with less technical background that need straightforward information to help them get running.
OurShop.com is able to stay online via private funds and funds generated through referral fees. When our top service recommendations have referral programs we apply for and implement them when accepted.
We do, however, have a free Pass-Thru service for existing hosting resellers where if a reseller of one of our hosting provider recommendations wishes to link to OurShop.com we will pass their reseller information to the hosting provider on click thrus. This also allows us to set return links on the OurShop.com pages to point back to Pass-Thru user's web sites.
Please note that all resource material on OurShop.com should be considered copyrighted. We ask that sites wishing to use this material sign up for a free OurShop.com Pass-Thru account and link to OurShop.com with a URL we provide.
If you would like to link to OurShop.com as a value added service to your browsing public, you would do this through our free Pass-Thru program. Our Passthrough Program creates return links to your site at the top (under the menu bar) and bottom (above or below the "home" link).
